About Paul Klee
Paul Klee (1879 – 1940) was a Swiss-born painter with German nationality, who combined abstract and figurative elements with a balanced color technique in his work. His highly individual style was influenced by movements in art that included expressionism, cubism, and surrealism. Nowadays you can find the paintings of Paul Klee in museums worldwide such as the Zentrum Paul Klee in Bern, the Kunstmuseum Basel and the Kunsthaus in Zurich all in Switzerland, Kunstsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen in Düsseldorf, the Hamburger Kunsthalle and the Städtische Galerie im Lenbachhaus in Munich all in Germany and in the Museum of Modern Art and the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum both also in New York in the USA.
