Since 1824, the Piatnik playing card factory has been making card stock playing cards in Vienna, Austria in the European Union, including this beautiful Piatnik Folklore playing cards twin pack. These Piatnik playing cards with an Austrian design and theme have unique card faces on all kings, queens and jacks. The card faces on these playing cards show Austrian states: Burgenland, Kärnten-Rosental, Linz, Salzburg, Salzburg-Lungau, Steiermark, Tirol-Otztal,Vorarlber, Wachau, and Zillertal, with Austrians in their traditional folklore costumes. The 4 aces are decorated with flowers and one deck of cards has a red back design with a colorful bouquet of flowers, the other deck has a green back design with a beautiful flower arrangement.

The Piatnik Folklore playing cards twin pack have 2 x 55 international playing cards in bridge size made from excellent quality card stock with 2 standard indexes, including 3 Jokers per deck. The 3 jokers depict a Carinthian Wedding Inviter (German: Kärntner Hochzeitslader).
