About Helena Lam:
Helena Lam is a representative of the Art Deco artist. She is inspired by Paris in France in its 20s, particularly by the design, fashion and clothes, architecture and the special lifestyle that was trendy at that time. She has an enormous interest in painting and as such devotes most of her life to her passion and love of this art form; she believes that her work is a variety of fusion artwork combining eastern and western images and lifestyle. She combined elegance and femininity with the thoughtfully chosen palette and elegant forms.
The artwork of Helena Lam Chinese-born Canadian painter from Hong Kong China, is inspired by the Art Déco era. This is a design style that blossomed in Paris in the 1920's and flourished internationally throughout the 1930's, into the World War II era.
