Schafkopf Tarock is a card game played in the German State Bavaria and some regions of Austria, as well as a variant in Berlin in Germany. Schafkopf originated in the 18th century and is one of the oldest German card games. It is played with four players, exists in many variants and takes its name from the custom of writing down the score in the form of a sheepshead.
