Smiley – For the past 50 years, leading creatives from the art, fashion and pop culture worlds have incorporated the smiley into their creations. Now the famous smile has teamed up with Bicycle to create a beautiful deck with a special surprise: open the package to make the hidden smiley pop out. This deck is co-branded between the Smiley and Bicycle brands. The artwork was developed together with Smiley and André Saraiva. André Saraiva is a world-renowned Swedish-French graffiti artist, creative director and entrepreneur. He was born in Uppsala, Sweden in the EU, where his Portuguese parents had fled the military regime of Salazar and grew up in Paris, France, where he began his lifelong passion for graffiti, tagging his name all over the city’s walls. He soon created Mr. A, his alter ego, which quickly became his signature design and an iconic character in the art and fashion world. André has drawn his caricature over 300,000 times, on six continents. André’s works have been exhibited in museums, shows, and contemporary art galleries around the world. He has also collaborated with numerous brands, such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, L’Oreal and Billionaire Boys Club just to name a few. Now an established hotelier, restaurateur and nightlife pioneer, André has never put his spray can away. He gave the Bicycle logo a colorful mix of spray paint and the original 1972 message “Take the Time to Smile” also gets a graffiti art treatment in this premium Bicycle deck.

The Smiley® X André Bicycle Limited Edition playing cards are made in the USA by The United States Playing Card Company and have 57 cards in poker size with Smiley faces and come with 2 Jokers + 1 double backer, 1 Bicycle add card and 1 Bicycle Smiley edition card. These Bicycle Smiley playing cards with unique André Saraiva signature are printed with non-toxic, plant-based inks to limit our environmental impact and ensure card players safety. The deck features bold colors, graffiti-inspired designs, and custom smiley characters that infuse classic Bicycle elements with the iconic André signature.
