Jass/Tapp the popular card game of the South Germans, originates from the Orient and was developed there around 1400. But only around 1900 it spreads in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, where it enjoys great popularity.

The Jass/Tapp playing cards are made by ASS Altenburger in Germany from cardboard and contain 37 Jass cards with french pattern and 1 x cover card. This Jass/Tapp deck has 36 playing cards with classic French suits in bridge size (59 mm x 91 mm) packed in plastic case.
